Beam Setup Requirements

Correct setup environments

Updated over a year ago

Ceiling Requirements

To set up the beam, you must have a ceiling height between 7.5'–10' (228 cm–304 cm). The minimum distance from the ceiling to the tabletop is 57 1/2″.

You can use Ditto with a drop ceiling. Carefully put the beam on the cross section of the ceiling framework.

Other Setup Options

You may choose to project onto the floor instead of a table. Install the beam like you normally would between the floor and ceiling, then lower the projector and projector carrier to about 50″ (127 cm) from the floor surface.

Take your Ditto anywhere. The unit is incredibly portable and only weighs about 10 pounds. The beam (aka the tension rod the projector attaches to) telescopes down and the cutting mat folds up as well.
